Serious Corvette addiction!!! what can i do??
I have this problem, im addicted to Corvettes, whilst at work im easily distracted and when some one talks about cars, i have to bring out the pics of my baby!!
My interest in the vettes is going crazy!! my wife thinks im having an affair with it!! and some how when we are having a discussion, vettes seems to creep into the conversation!!!
When i should be working, i sneak a peak at this forum to see whats going on in the vette world!! and then i start dreaming of things i can do to better my vette!!
Is there a cure for this addiction??

Hi J,
I think there would only be a CURE if it were a DISEASE!!!
Since it's an ADDICTION, you must work everyday to control it, ...and ENJOY it!!!!
Regards,
Alan

jimo,
You are among friends here.
Hello, My name is Terry and I am a Vette addict.
See, denial is the first sign of guilt so glad to see you're open an honest with your admirable problem.

Go to www.google.com and search "Tiger Woods". I'll bet you'll come up with some solutions on how to deal with "addiction".........maybe worth a try?????

Makes me think of the Serenity Prayer, also claimed by Alcoholics Anonymous:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
This applies to NCRS addicts as well as mod-aholics...kinda applies to all of us who are just crazy about our cars.

Another Vette will cure it for a month or two. After that you will be Jones'n again. Sad to say but this addiction will eventually run your life completely. Watch family members closely for the tell tale signs of an intervention.
