Corvette "switchblade" key FOB
Does anyone have one of these?
I ordered one from Corvettekey.com about a weeek ago and was wondering how difficult it is to swap the circuitboards.

I got one a couple of years ago and I was not pleased with it. In fact I never really used it because I had to keep re-learning the fob. It was no problem installing the circuit board though it fit right in.

I have one works awesome, the only problem is no place for a house key the loop falls off the fob.

I'd be interested in knowing how well you like it. It was all over this forum a couple of years ago and if I remember most didn't really like it.

I have one and really like it. Not that it does anything that the other fob did not, it just looks different and cool. I bought mine when they first came out, and other than having to go to the dealer to get the key cut (did it for free) I don't have anything to say bad.
Some say it is big.....I like it.

After looking at the directions I don't think you will have any trouble, looks just like installing a fresh case on your remote. Backlight the Corvette logo, add a momentary keyhole light, retrofit ipod shuffle or even a laser pointer - any would be a challenge!

i have one and people who say it's too big just don't understand.
it's as small as it can possibly be for a retro fit.
it's overall length is the length of a stock key...because that's how long it needs to be.
it's overall width is the width of the circuit board which comes from the stock fob. again because that's how wide it needs to be.
for what it is and what it's purpose is, there's no way to make it physically smaller.
