LED 'Halo' Tail Lights Installed (half way) - PICS!
I just installed some LED tail lights that I bought for $280 on a well known website. All I can say is I LOVE THEM! They look SO much better than the stock ones IMO. Very bright compared to the stock lights. The LED lights even look better when they are not lit up as well. I would say they are a little brighter RED than the stock and they don't look as dull, more facets in the lenses.
Also it was incredibly easy to swap them out a well. All you need is the 'star' shaped screw driver in the correct size. I happen to have one of those 'utility' screwdrivers that had the right size and shape. It took only a few minutes once I figured out how to hook them up.
Here are a few pics. You can make your own decisions.
By the way - These DO NOT hyper flash, normal speed for turn signals.
That's my 2003 Acura TL (daily driver) next to my Vette.
What do you think? .........Like em?
No, the lights are not on in a lot of these pics because I wanted to show how they looked with the lights off as well. Also, PICS don't do them justice as they look even better in real life. The color is brighter and so are the lights when turned on.

I like the looks of the OEM better. They were designed to look like afterburners when the brakes are applied and I think GM nailed it. I do like how yours look static though.

I got them on that famous Auction website (Fleabay). Just search for 'LED tail lights' and then narrow it down to 'Chevrolet' and then 'Corvette'. They are 'Eagle Eyes' brand and they are selling for $279 shipped. I don't care what others may think, if they prefer to pay $400-$500 then good for them. These lights are easy to install, look great (at least I think so) and on my car they do not hyper flash. You can install them in 15 minutes, I'm not kidding. To be honest I have seen pictures of other sellers high priced LED lights and they look exactly the same to me.
They really do look great on CG. The pictures don't do them justice.

In the second and third photo, are those only the running lights? They look like the brake lights, but the third brake light is not on.

The halo is what flashes when you put the turn signal on. Very bright. It should grab the attention of anyone behind you.

NC thanks for posting these for us as I always wondered what these look like. The next request is pictures of the lights as the brake lights are applied. I was wondering the same thing on the eagle lights compared to the other over priced ones. Please keep us posted on how they work for you.
