I got this .98 with my 08 'Vert Z51 optioned and Supercar tires with 16000 miles. Tires are scheduled for replacement this Thursday.
I'm staying with the GY F1 Supercar tires...

I've gotten .98 on my 08 Z51 JSB w/Supercars many times, but never higher. I love the supercars as they are sticky and predictable. I have 16000 miles and need to replace them but just can't seem to justify the cost. I think I will try the Firestones and probably regret it.

I've gotten .97 twice in my Z51 Coupe. Once on the OEM Supercars and once on my Kumhos. One other time I was able to get a 1.04 on there but tripped the Active Handling

The highest I've gotten was just over 1 (I think it was 1.02) on an onramp. I was running regular Eagle F1's and F55 suspension in sport mode. I could almost hear the rubber eating away on the corner of my tire.

This thread is worthless without pictures.
I routinely get a little over 1.05-1.10G on a couple of turns around here but it takes practice and I'm not advising anyone to try this without first calculating what they will do if they suddenly find themselves with no traction. You better have a plan for what you will do if you find yourself going straight instead of turning.

Cool. MY HUD does not provide me any actual numbers but if I take a corner too hard the thunderous screams let me know that I'm about to lose traction.
My HUD (Housewife Under Distress)is a bit different than the ones you guys have.

this thread is a duplicate post!
Haven't any of you guys been on the Tail of the Dragon or similar roads???? If so then over one should be very attainable! Routinely!!
Just my experience and MHO--sorry no pics, just multiple daughter's wide eyes and grins.

I've had 1.13g, but my crappy camera phone didn't get the pic.
I also play the game where you can't chirp the tires and the rear end can't break out.
Here is 1.10g

I never have gotten over .65 on my G meter, (never tried) but looking at the photos all the G meters that are around 1.0 or higher the engine RPM is under 1000 RPM... ??
Can someone explain that to me.. how are they getting 1G at under 1000 RPM.. and the speed is 0 mpg.... I'm thinking Photochop.. or doctored photos

Btw...the maximum G is only displayed from the time you've had the car on, ie, once you turn your car off, your max G is gone....until next time!

You guys with over 1 G's on street tires, on public roads are accidents waiting to happen. Ill see your car in several pieces at my collision repair shop soon! (or the local insurance auction)
Highest ive ever sanely done was .83 G's and i didnt wanna push it much more.

one thing to think about is i believe it only reads lateral g's ,,,,,,,so acceleration and braking g's dont come into play. Gotta figure you pull way more braking g's then that. wish it would read all the above i think mine read 1.1 once????? aftermarket tires and funny thing is only doing 40mph or so
