Default Bloomington Gold, had a great time

We had a great time at Bloomington Gold and are traveling back to NY in our new 66 Impala SS that we purchased a few weeks ago. I'll have to return later this week to drive the Vette home.

Saturday evening we were invited to attend a picinic held by the Fox Valley Corvette Club which is quite a gathering out in the country. The parade of approximately 500 corvettes goes past the picinc site and is quite a sight to see. A few volunteers are out at the road to help control traffic while more cars than I can count stop and do their best attempt at a burnout. Since there were no good C2 attempts made some old guy in a Red Coupe gave it a try.

Enjoy!

Roy

Now that you made it big Roy you can move back to PA
Too many car things overlap with other car things , but I sure need to get out there......

Hi Bob: The Impala is running great. We are east of Toledo and should be home this afternoon. About 400 miles to go.

Default Roy is being too modest!

That was only one of three magnificent, tire-shredding runs he made. The assembled women and children had to flee from the huge clouds of toxic smoke he created.

I am honored to be babysitting Roy's Corvette for a few days and the temptation is very strong....

Awesome burnout Roy, nice and straight, now I am proud to say I was riding shotgun with you doing 360s through the auto cross infield at Carlisle last year.

Mine goes sideways too. I do a 5 grand holeshot and I end up sideways.....
Through 3 gears

Great burnout. That 427 just has all the raw power to send those wheels a smoking.

I was there - we were on top of the white van with the deck on top of it taking tons of pics.

That was a blast. Thanks to our gracious hosts from the Fox Valley Corvette Club. What a great bunch of people.

There was some speculation that your work, if it wound up on the public airwaves, could lead to police scrutiny, which we have never had before.

Please say it ain't so!
