Horn quit blowing.

There are 3 fuses associated with the horn and security system.

1. All 3 fuses are good, both in fuse pannel and one up under the
passenger side dash.

2. Horn will blow when in securith mode.
Therefore, there is battery to horn relay.

There is battery to CCM computer, horn blows intermittently.

3. Horn will not blow from sterring wheel button.

4. Therefore, I assume I have a defective horn button.

5. How do you remove sterring wheel to expose horn button ???

Before you do anything DISCONNECT THE BATTERY and let it sit ten minutes. Then remove the 2 Torx bolts from behind the steering wheel. That will remove the airbag. Disconnect the small yellow plug from the air bag unit and set it aside. Look for the wire coming from your horn buttons. It should go into a white plastic connector (looks like half of an inline fuse holder) The wire from your horn buttons has a spring on it and a black plastic connector. This turns a quarter turn and locks into the white plastic piece that is inside the column. This part gets brittle and breaks over time and the wires from your horn buttons won't make contact anymore. You will see a round plastic piece with a spring in it that has to do with the airbag. Push down on this and remove the snap ring and slide this off the steering shaft. Remove the small wire clip on the shaft. Now you will need the steering wheel puller. Pull the wheel and behind it you will see the white plastic piece (turn signal/horn cam) it's called. It's about $10 from auto zone. Install it and put everything back in reverse as you took it off. Make sure the steering wheel is lined up with the tires facing straight. Push the horn wires with the black connector and spring into the new connector and twist 1/4 turn to lock. GOOD LUCK Pipe

In addition to disconnecting the battery, I suggest you also pull the fuse for the airbag before doing anything, just to be safe.
