Default LS2 Powered Saab 9-7x Aero

Here's the latest ride, it's a Saab 9-7x Aero or as some would call it a Saab Trollblazer SS

Thanks for posting. I was not aware Saab was building those with
the LS2. They have come a long way

One of the best things that could have happened to them.

The bloodlines were getting rather mixed at the end.

As mentioned, the 9-7X is based on the Trailblazer/Envoy platform.
The 9-2X was a re-bodied Subaru Impreza. A 9-6X was going to be
based on the B9 Tribeca before being cancelled. Reportedly, a 9-1
based on the Opel Astra was planned for release in 2009.

runutzzzzz, the specs for the Aero look quite enticing. How are the
early reviews?

Glad to see you pulled the trigger on the Saab. I thought you might hold out for that next rebate, and some other joker would get it first.

I think you'll enjoy it, I've liked my TBSS much more than I thought I would. Plus, regardless of Saab's outcome, you can have it serviced no problem at any Chevy dealer. Assuming they stay in business too

It's everyone on here's fault I bought a 9-7x Aero...
Yeah, We'll see what the rebates are tomorrow. I'm already thinking about selling it for something bigger

The only seat time I've had is the 800 mile trip back from WI. The truck was comfy but bumps were very jarring!
Compared the the Jeep SRT-8 I had this feels and is slower! It has a lot more interior space.

The inside cabin materials seem to be better but the exterior trim all looks cheap and don't fit very well i.e. window trim.

It's deff. a sleeper, no one knows a Saab SUV exist let alone a Saab with a LS2!

One of the best things is exhaust note sounds like a Vette

I know what you mean, I drove my brothers SRT-8 a couple weeks ago, and the way that launches from the hole is just unreal. The Superchips tune does make a rather large improvement by helping with our Torque Management for the LS2, and from a roll they are pretty equal, but you won't get that insane launch that you are used to.

Funny, I thought his felt more jarring on the road than the TBSS, but I don't know if Saab stiffens the suspension on those or not.

Oh, by the way, is your Saab manufactured in the U.S. or do they manufacture those overseas, and ship them back.

Sell it for something bigger Already thinking of the next toy, gotta love it.

I'm thinking about getting it tuned if I don't sell it.

Maybe I just don't remember how stiff the Jeep was, I remember it was pretty stiff tho... It was built in OH like all the others!

The Saab is a deff. sleeper. People pay no attention to it until I start it up and they hear the rumble After that I get a lot of point etc... They prob. notice the TBSS wheels.

Nice ride. Even though I only have the 5.3 aero I like mine a bunch.

If you get a tune and some long tubes it will shift a whole lot better and be as fast as your SRT. My tuner has a SRT Jeep and the thing is jaring on the ride but it is fast and nimble.

I paid $15,000 for mine with 14k miles. Most people think it's new and well over 30k.

For what you paid it looks like you got one hell of nice vehicle.

Worried about the warranty

I tell you what, this thing handles A LOT better in the snow than my Jeep SRT-8 did. I could even floor it on ice and it would track straight LOL.
