Default TVS Supercharger installed on LS3, Dyno tuning today!

As many of you already know we have installed and delivered quite a few TVS systems on LS7 Z06's with awesome results (860hp/760ft/lbs). You also probably already know that we also offer a bolt-on TVS supercharger kit for LS2 and LS3 powered C6's. What everyone doesn't know and what quite a few have said they are waiting for, is the amount of power that the TVS will produce on the C6. Well the wait is finally over. We finished our first LS3 TVS installation this morning and have begun tuning. Initial numbers look very promising but I'm gonna wait til the final numbers to post. We're gonna stay as long as it takes today to get some final power numbers so stay tuned, they'll be here today!

Here's a quick video we made earlier today when we began tuning. This was made before we had done much tuning so in the video we only rev the car to 4000 rpm's. (sorry about the finger in the corner of the shot too)

With positive displacement superchargers such as the TVS you do have to change the hood. There are numerous hood options available. Most of our customers have chosen to use our TVS extractor hood pictured below. The owner of the black LS3 in this thread opted for a Lingenfelter supercharger hood. It's still in the paint shop but will be done in the next few days.

Will the #'s be from a bone stock LS3 w/ no other drivetrain modifications other than your sc package?

Will the kit come w/ a baseline tune & are #'s w/ that baseline tune?

The only power producing upgrades on this C6 besides the TVS supercharger are a cold air intake, corsa exhaust, and long tube headers. It has no internal engine modifications so yes, it is basicly a bone stock LS3.

The mail-order kit will come with a box and pre-paid ups label so that you can return your ecm to us. We will tune it according to the engine mods your car has and send it back. We tune our in-house installs with our chassis dyno and the numbers we post for this car will come from that type of tuning.

Default Dyno numbers

Tuning is complete and here are the power numbers. On a stock LS3 Corvette at 7.5lbs of boost the TVS produces 658hp (560rw) and 622ft/lbs of torque (528rw). These numbers represent a 195rwhp and 168rwft/lb gain over stock. The most impressive point to note on the graph is that at only 3000 rpms this car already has 500 ft/lbs of rear wheel torque. I think Frank, the owner, will be pleased!

I love it when a CAI with Headers is considered a bone stock motor. Nevertheless impressive numbers. Although I do wonder what the numbers would be on a REAL bone stock LS3? If I go with F/I it will be street legal.

^ When you're putting a supercharger on leaving stock manifolds on makes no sense and you can't use the stock air intake due to the location of the intake snout off of the supercharger.

The engine is bone stock... meaning no forged bottom end w/ lower compression pistons. No ported heads and no cam etc etc.

If you wanted a very streetable package you could put on a full LS7 exhaust vs. headers etc.
