Default Gm performance parts floor jacks?

I got one for christmas, but am hesitant to use it. It looks good, but can't find any info on it.

Anyone have some insight?

I have it and have been using for 6 month now with no problem. Work well and the price was good. I picked mine up at walmart.

cool, I haven't even taken it out the box yet, it looks as if it is a low profile, you have any problems getting it under the vette?

thanks again

Jimmy, I just recently used that jack (and stands) on my C6. It worked fine for side lifting (used jacking pucks made from hockey pucks) and rear lifting (may need a wood block for extra height). It is low profile and works well (the LED light was actually helpful), but is not nearly as long and does not raise as high as the more expensive jacks that many members will recommend. It's good for occaisional light tasks, but if you plan to lift the entire car often, there are better choices. $100 for 4 (good)stands and a decent low-profile jack isn't bad

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only use the jack for the raising or lowering of the vehicle. ANY JACK!!!!

To maintain a raised vehicle use jack stands and wheel chocks for your safety. A car falling off a jack will kill you.

No jack should be used to suspend the car while performing work around or underneath it.

I agree, never use the jack to hold and maintain the vehicle up, always for safety sake, use jack stands.

Nope works great. I also have the matching jack stands that I use after I raised to the height need. Good product.
