327 vs 350 rods & pistons
OK, so probably a dumb-azz question: can one use 327 piston/rod combo in a 350, given same overbore? I am thinking there is a difference in pin location. Would appreciate good input only. Thanks.

The sky is the limit on sb chevy parts swapping.
Sounds like u could use a small block chevy interchange manual to keep you out of trouble. I have one by Ed Staffel but there maybe more up to date books out now. Items like piston compressed height become very important when changing piston and rod combination s and when changing block deck height too.
Chevy made a lot of good performance parts that can be found used at pocket change prices. But u have to know which part will work for your combo.
Good luck,

My brother is rebuilding a worn-out 350 and I have several sets of 327 rod/piston sets in the attic. I was just checking to see if I could slip him some money savers. Thanks for the info.
