Default Edelbrock LT1 intake worth anything?

I was just curious if anybody has tried the edelbrock LT1 / LT4 air gap intakes? The stock LT1 and LT4 intakes can support a lot of power. Has anybody ever tried one? Dyno numbers, track times?

Looks like there's more meat on them for porting, the test was on a non-ported intake.

Edelbrock's LT1 and LT4 are the same casting, it's machined differently.

The real seller will be Edelbrock's LT4 intake since stock LT4 intakes command a high price.

I read about the intake last month in the mag and for the most part it seams to be a waste of money unless you want an LT4 intake.

I will let you know, but it seems to rev very smoothly.
might be replacing half the parts on the car, or it could be the intake.
either way got a brand new intake and didn't pay a dime.
Someone liked my LT4 intake as much as Edelbrock liked theirs.

It's not the only article out there I'll see if I can find one in a camaro mag a while back. the results are truly dissapointing what a horrible intake.
