New Z06 Records! 9.21@158.20!!!
Went to the RPM Track event today and I have to say what a great time it was! Big thanks to the guys at RPM Transmissions for the invites!
Jason Bested his previous record in the Yellow car with a 9.27@156 and I ran my best ever of 9.21@158.20 in the Orange Car!
I made no less than 11 passes at 14psi today ~950RWHP on a mixed tank of 1/2 93 and 1/2 100 unleaded.
My highlights for today were as follows.
Best 60' 1.42 on M&H DR's and full 18x10.5 fronts!
Best ET 9.21
Best MPH 158.20
We have pretty much every run on video and will be uploading them sometime tomorrow along with time slips.
Big thanks to RPM Transmissions for the track day and an amazing tranny/rear that held all that power today as well as ipsmotorsports.net for thier work on the car.
Next weekend I will be taking the car down to Memphis for the LSX Shootout. If I can get some skinnies before then, 8's will be possible.

Yes the cars had an absolutely great showing!! Huge thanks to RPM for the invite to the event and all the hard work on the transmissions!! You really can't beat RPM for their great customer service and products!
Congrats to Atomic for breaking the record!! I've still got the MPH record on you though! lol. Unless you get skinnies, then I believe you'll probably kill it!!

Overall mine did pretty good, I blew through the percesion industries 3 clutch converter and couldn't lock it up all day. I also have some suspension tweaks I need to make, but I'll be doing those next year! Car is retired for the season, so Atomic gets to be on top all winter!!

awesome times guys. you might have already answered this but is their anymore power to turn up on either car (not saying that you need more power). or was 14 psi maxing out the APS system. just wondering if anyone has maxed out the APS z06 system yet.

IPS did some heavy modifications to the APS system to build this power level... I think we can go to about 16-17psi on the system the way it is... this winter we will be upgrading the turbo centers to billit pieces, changing the intake manifold and doing some other mods in hopes for low 8's high 7's.
