Z06 Titanium Exhaust

Z06 Titanium Exhaust
I installed my Z06 titanium exhaust on my '01 6 speed ragtop today and am completely thrilled. There is a lot of banter on this forum regarding exhaust upgrades. I took the advice of many and am 100% convinced I made the right choice. The titanium system has a much better note at idle and sounds awesome when you get on it. Not obnoxious, no drone, much better sound and look than stock. The tailpipes complete the back of the car the way it should look..... For those of you considering what to do for a street C5, this is a great choice..... $400 (nearly new) plus 60 bucks to install at my local Monro (3/4 hour labor).

I really like the exhaust note on my stock 2002 Zee. Wouldn't think of making it any louder. It's quiet while cruising mellow, but barks decently with some heavy throttle.

I'm "Apache" a psycho dog
I have it on a non Z but with engine mods, headers it is an excellent exhaust just the right sound (for me) and no drone

I did the S/S to Ti switch a year ago and agree it is a great setup. Light, affordable (used), durable, nice sound and great looking tips.

I imagine if you parked a C5Z outside for hundreds of years, the only recognizable piece left would be a cherry looking Ti exhaust assy. Maybe someday an archeologist will dig one up and wonder what heck it is.

Perfect time for me to read this thread. I just bought a set of Titaniums from a forum member that are practically brand new. They are off an 04 Z06 with 3000 miles on them. I hope to get them this week sometime. Can't wait! Now I'm getting excited. LOL

My Ti's with LG Street's sound great...plus NO drone, light weight, and perfect installation/fitment. How can you go wrong?
when I first got mine I put them on with the stock C5 headers/Bassani X-pipe, sound was good, my brother talked me into them, than he told me get some headers and I'll probably like them better, did the same as you, LG Streets LT w/hiflow cats...perfect for me/just marvelous....

I got mine for 200 off a forum member. The same week I picked up a brand new Borla x pipe off of flea-bay for 99 bucks. Whole system was 299.................sweeeeeeet......I love it.
