Automatic adjustment built into the parking brake lever.Pull out the drivers seat squab and remove the screws from the brake cover and you will see the mechanism in there.

More if it needs it. I can't remember if the procedure is the same for 90.
I can't even remember if my 90 had dics on all corners? I'm pretty sure it did. That's what happens when you get old.

Give it a try & see what happens. As Staugur suggested a little lube in the mechanism would probably help.

I tried pulling it up firmly a number of times, nothing changed. Yes I have disks all 4 corners.

don't know about the 90 but in my '86 I took the wheels off and rotated the disc to a certain spot (used haynes manual to find it) then there's a hole you stick a flathead screwdriver in and there's a star wheel you push either up or down depending on the side of the car you're doing

How old are the rear pads and rotors?

Don't the older ones have a small pad inside the RR Rotor that is used for the E-brake?

Correct me if I am wrong, but I just did my rear Brake Pads. The cable for the E-Brake went inside the RR Rotor, I just assumed it was the style where the E-Brake was like an old Drum brake using the inside of the Hub.

This would be consistent with Swift_Strikers post about turning a Star wheel with a Screw Driver.

Well, just to let everyone know. There is NO adjustment for the parking brake. My rear claipers were bad, so I had the calipers changed and now the e-brake works great.
