Separate Lens From Headlight Housing
NEW C-6 CORVETTE HEADLIGHTS. I NEED TO TAKE THEM APART TO CHANGE THE COLOR ON C-6. THE LENS IS GLUED TO THE HEADLIGHT HOUSING WHICH HAS TO BE REMOVED TO GET TO THE PAINTED AREA. THEY MUST OF USED SUPER GLUE OR SOMETHING, THEY ARE REALLY HARD TO SEPARATE THE LENS FROM THE HOUSING. MAYBE SOMEBODY OUT THERE FOUND A SOLUTION I HOPE.

The lights are made in Eastern Europe by Vistion and is they are not made to come apart and reassembled. I found this out from a guy I met at the gas station while pumping gas that sold them to GM.
I would try to sell the ones I have and buy ones in the color you want.

Ignore the posts from the naysayers and read Moto's and Abominations's posts.
Also Google headlight assembly oven, this is a common procedure on lots of cars. The process looks about the same on all of them.
