C5 Carbon Fiber Mirrors??

Melting Slicks
I don't think anyone is out there looking for weight savings to switch to carbon fiber side mirrors... if they were, they would just take them off at the track.
Some things don't need to be "upgraded", IMO

what about www.corvetteracebodies.com they make full carbon fiber bodies, so I'd bet they have sideview mirror, just have to find out if they fit with the stock body panels

When you paint it you end up loosing most, if not all, of the "carbon fiber" look. Which is why on black, you would end up keeping it and it would not detract from the color of the car so much... if the car was black that is.

APSIS can wrap your oem mirror in CF then clear coat it. They do amazing work, much of it custom. APSIS is Corvette Forum Supporting Vendor. If you call them ask for Jersey. Keep us posted if you spring for em
