That's what i was suggesting in my above post (but not sure I made it clear). A 3/4" 16 pitch bolt fits just about perfect. The ID of the snout there is just barely larger than what you'd ideally use (off the top of my head, I believe it's .70" and .685" is what is ideal) but it'll work. You can bore it out a tick and go 1 size bigger if you want as well.

There's also just about as much length there, as there is behind it in the threaded area so you've got a decent length of thread engagement area.
