Default ZR-1 Insurance

So, I applied on-line to Grundy last night for insurance on my 94. I got an e-mail this morning telling me that they won't insure any Corvette newer than 1974 unless it is part of a collection. I know some of you guys have insurance with them, how'd ya get it?

Thanks,
Rick L.

Try a different company. I use Parish Heacock, but there are restrictions on the policy.

Hey "Exterminator" Nice picture but Miss Penny should be in the back. Give Sweet Pea a big holiday kiss and hug for me.
Best regards, George (The Admiral)

I use American Collectors in NJ.
Agreed value of $25k, full coverage + comp; $250 deductibale;
Cost: <$300 per year.
Limitations on mileage and use; i.e., must be stored in a locked garage, no more than 5k miles per year (they've never checked in two years), not to be a regular commute car, must have a different primary vehicle.
