LAPD Installing SIXTH APS C6 TT Kit Now On Brabus2's C6!!!
Dear Corvetteforum.com Members,
We just wanted to let everyone know that we just began the installation of an APS twin turbo kit on Brabus2's C6. We will post up a few pictures as soon as the car is torn down and we will post the final numbers as soon as we are done tuning the car.
Stay tuned!
Shawn

I just took a few pics of the teardown process. What you are seeing is the removal of Brabus2's C6 ATI Procharger kit. More pics to come as progress moves forward.

Why does anyone switch? FOR MORE POWER!!!!!!! The APS C6 twin turbo kits make more torque over ATI's C6 supercharger kit. Brabus2 wants to get as close to 600 RWHP as possible.

Shawn...thanks for starting the thread! Let me first state that the LAPD crew: Shawn, Al, Doug, Dan, Robert, Gevork...and the extended LAPD family too; Emillo, Sam & Oz have been VERY supportive to my needs, each knowledge I gained from them were unique and personal!!! LAPD is NOT an establishment that pushes to sell products sitting on the shelves, they care what goes into your car and their mission is to complete the customer's vision with added professional advice.
It's been an on-going debate for months whether to adopt the twins or just built-up the ProCharger system...but, having owned several TT cars in the past since the mid 80s (Rx-7 Turbo II being the first...you guys remember that car? ), well it was time to get back to a familiar setting with present turbo technologies.
Nice snap shots Shawn, Gevork/Dan/Robert have mastered the teardown & install... And, it looks like in one photo Sam has joined the wrenching.

Get out of the way!
I picked up Borla stingers from emanon800 tonight. He was cool enough to take me for a spin WOW these guys are nuts! That think is crazy fast! Even offered to let me drive....I declined as I was not familiar with the area.
I don't trust myself with something that fast! My right foot always gets me in trouble!

Current mods that will remain w/ the APS kit:
FAST intake
ECS Alky kit
Bullets w/ 3" mid-section
I am upgrading to the Magnavolt per LAPD recommendation.
Debating if I should throw in a turbo cam too.
As for durability/reliability of the kit...time will tell on the C6s, but I know a few local guys who have them on their WRXs, all rave reviews with ther APS built.
