Suspension or Undercarriage Pictures
Does anyone have pics to show what you did to your Suspension or Undercarriage? I am looking for stock scenarioes to modified. Also can you specifically state what types of paint you used and colors? Has anyone ventured to the 'hammered' paint - I thought that may look kinda cool on the spindles

i sandblasted all the parts frt & rear then gave them a coat of por 15 after etching & topcoated w/por 15 ford red engine paint. the frame i coated w/por 15 & topcoated w/krylon semi black. also used por 15 to coat the shell & wheelwells. i used dupli color red anodized paint for 1/2shafts & shocks

Rosslato - as always - WOW !.... Chris and I are heading in the same direction...
Yellow73 - grab some pics - eager to see that hammered look. Where else did ya use it? You happy with it?
I think the red really looks nice.
How does your 'painting work' hold up - how long ago did you paint it and how often do you drive it. Just trying to assess for myself and others how well each style of paint holds up

hmmm - I did not relaize POR 15 had engine paint. Will check out. That is good info on the condition of your work. thanks. What did you use on the silver underbody - any difference on temps.
This is working out well - as I can see what others painted, with different color combinations.
Swede - I like how you did your links to the photos. As for my homepage... I know - will try to address after the car is back together.

Rosslato is a pretty hard act to follow... ESPECIALLY with those chrome universal caps.
Here's my POR-15 frame & suspension. Frame is topcoated with Eastwood Chassis Black. I have since completed the rest of the frame, but no pics yet. I'm still lookin for those caps Ross...

lookn good Eddie, go take some pics of yer latest work, would like to see. as for the universal caps, if i'd a known they were gonna go out of business i'd a bought a poopload of em, oh well. you'll just have to go capless. what shocks u using w/the TRW spring?
