Best car wax to use
What is the best car wax to use on the Z06's? I have had my Z06 for about 9 months and I have tried three different brands. I garage my car and it hasn't been in rain yet. i am looking for the deepest shine possible. It is a Daytona Sunset Orange Z06. Thanks for your help.

Zaino gets great reviews, and I have used it to great effect in the past. Done per the instructions, it can get a little involved.
The "Adam's" brand is also thought well of.
My detailer turned me on to Meguiar's NXT, which I have found to be simple, easy, fast, and darned effective.

It works perfect with clearbra as well!

But I like using the NXT as well and can vouch for its effectiveness.

Adams Butterwax is very easy to put on, and wipes off easier than any other wax I've used.
I find that it has a more glossy finish than a deep finish. But if you get Brilliant Spray Glaze, it REALLY makes the color look very deep. You can use the BSG by itself and get a great finish, but it works even better with wax.

Holy, schmoly. I could go the rest of my life without ever hearing this question again.
There is no best. Try different ones to see what meets your needs best. Find what you like and use it often (on properly prepped paint).

Doesn't anyone ever use the search feature or just scroll down the page or two?

I agree Zane, it would not bother me one bit if I never heard this question again.

Type in "Z06" for the promotional code, and you will get 10% off.

I like Auto Glass. Very strong. It is not a wax, though, it binds a layer over the clearcoat. Behaves like a wax. Even though it lasts an indoor car 2 years in my case, I use it every 6 months.
The only problem is if you get it repainted, tell the paint guy you used it. Also, my painter says not to use waxes, perhaps he means waxes which build up. I wish I knew more about this technology. I've used it for a long time. Any comparisons?

Gentlemen, I used Zaino on my Z06, but one of the top guys in the paint department of General Motors, recommended Formula 113. I have not used it yet, I am going to use it on my CTS-V. I'll use it as a guinea pig.

The owner of 113 has been thrown off of numerous forum for sending threatening emails to anybody that did not like his product.

GoTreo - awesome.
on the topic - this question is never going to be resolved. Please just take a day or two to read all the previous posts on this question, and you'll get a sense of the top 5 favorites - then it will be up to you to try them yourself. But there really is much to be said for DURABILITY - i.e. NOT having to wax every weekend. Think about "waxing" once every 4 or 5 months instead, when you're evaluating products.
