Default Wanted custom C3 paint pics

Since I put my 79 into the rail at the drag strip I have been thinking of paint. I am painting it myself with a few friends. The car is at the body shop being repaired and being prepped for paint. So I am looking for ideas. My car started life blue and is now silver. I am thinking a candy blue or red color. I was also thinking of a silver outline flame. But I am still unsure.

Here's my '74 done in House of Kolor Kustom Kandy Green. Very rare as I've not seen one like it yet. The color just stands out at any car show. Wherever I go people just snap their neck trying to get a glimpse of this one. A real show stopping color!

Curtis that green is awesome. I have decided that we are going with a Kandy Blue with silver goust flames. Although the Kandy red is still on my mind.

Good choice! The candy colors are amazing in the sunlight. It takes awhile to get the shade just right, but it's worth it if you do. I almost went with ghost flames on mine as well, but elected to keep it simple. Good luck and glad I could help. Post pics as soon as she's finished............

Well I played with photoshop and came up with these. THe blue one turned out better. The red one I made the goust flames quickly but you get the idea.

I wish. I have pulled some favors owed to me. I have all my bodywork being done by an import shop. They are great guys who do great work. I figured they were used to working with fiberglass. They are also prepping it for paint. There I pulled more favors. I am painting it with the help of some friends. So we will see how it turns out.

If I ever decide to change the color of my car from black to something else, I'd consider these two colors also.

If you like red, I considered paint my car the BMW Imola Red. Its a deep blood red color.

The depth on this looks awesome. I gotta say that is the best green I have ever seen! I'd take it anytime!
