You got to love a crack head with money, and as for our cars made of gold, well no but we aren’t making up the masses here, but we enjoyed the comment. Im pretty sure sense we had the car at the 2004 SEMA show and it was the first 6.0 F1R car plus it was on Speed Channel is why it sold for what it sold for being its an older model. Either way it has a new home and the next one will be under construction when it hits the lot on Thursday. I think we may step up to a larger cubic inch engine and stop with the stock cubic inches.
Now lets get Jason’s car at Texas Speed "nice ride by the way" a new home http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1336574

"...it was on Speed Channel is why it sold for what it sold for.."
I am not sure I really can respond to that even though I very much want to. I suppose that is pretty close to what they call 'speechless'.

Its ok we are Speachless too that's why I stated:
"Im pretty sure sence we had the car at the 2004 SEMA show and it was the first 6.0 F1R car plus it was on Speed Channel is why it sold for what it sold for being its an older model." It could have been because we had it at the car wash or McDonalds or even driving down the road, I really dont know. Either way end result its sold.
In other words "Pretty Sure" means we dont know but the final items is it's sold.

Ah.
So, rather than just hanging with your original explanation as being 'pretty sure', you now have decided to pop in a few more possible alternatives.
Cool.
Your reply puts me in mind of the inimitable Jules Winfield:
JULES
What's an act of God?
VINCENT
I guess it's when God makes the
impossible possible. And I'm sorry
Jules, but I don't think what
happened this morning qualifies.
JULES
[snip] You're judging this
thing the wrong way. It's not
about what. It could be God
stopped the bullets, he changed
Coke into Pepsi... [snip]
(... or, I suppose, in this case, got top dollar for a used car...)
In any event, I think I am through now, thanks. I am glad your car sold well.

Brainard raceway Chattanooga
The new owner of this car, MDMC and alot more vettes will be in Chatt tommorrow for street race night at Brainard race way.
No light no times just heads up racing for fun.
Great thing about MDMC is they like to go with owners of cars they work on to the strip and help them with any issues or problems.

Hay Matt,
Congrats on the sale that is definately a sweet ride! We've run into the same problem with selling real high end cars like this, there's only a small percentage of actual buyers that can spend this kind of money on a single car. It doesn't mean the price is outrageous, it just means that you have a smaller group of potential buyers to work with.

Is that because the pool of people with huge amounts of discretionary income, yet no idea of what things are really worth is pretty small? Well, after watching a few episodes of 'Cribs', I've no doubt you can market to the latest batch of hip hop stars...
