Default Pics of stock 245's on ZO6 Wheels

The wheels are chrome ZO6 offset and sized wheels from West Coast Corvette. The rubbers on the rears are ZO6 sized 325's, the front rubbers are stock 245's.

It does not stick out too much right now, but after the 275's go on in front they will stick out a tad more.

appreciate you taking the time to do that Ron. i have a set of black OEM Z06 wheels that i am going to put on as soon as my turn comes up at the paint shop to widen the rear on my 07 coupe. i already have the Z06 brakes. your pics def help. i will prolly do the 245 front tire until i get ready to widen the front at which time i will move up to the 275.

i think the wheels are on the ragged edge but i will live with them till spring when i plan to do the front end. im still somewhat on the fence about even doing the front end. guess i will decide when my wheels are actually on the car

1bdasvt - if you don't mind, where did you get your Caravaggio rears from? I know LPE mentioned they could get me a set. Was curious who else sells these and at what cost.

Thanks.

just a note for you guys that may want to get these wheels. if you're not using the C6 Z06 brakes, you can get a properly offset front 18x9.5 Z06 replica wheel that will fit under a stock C6.

the only reason to go with an actual C6 Z06 offset front wheel, like Ron has is to clear the big Z06 calipers

i had a OEM set painted from this

to this

Ron, thanks for those pictures.

ShawnDFW, where did you get the z06 oem wheels? Also, where did you get them painted at? They look great.

i had the wheels from when my buddy who has a C6Z decided to go with chrome after market C6Z wheels. one of the rear wheels had a minor rash so i decided to get them all refinished in flat black to contrast against my red C6Z brakes and silver car.

i have a local painter here in ft worth that will do them for 200 (all 4 wheels)

he actually did another set of wheels for me for 125 in gloss(shiney) black, but this time went up in price because of the labor involved.

there is a difference in quality and weight between OEM and the after market wheels. the oem's are very light

i had a local forum member offer me his perfect polished oem Z wheels for 1k. i passed on them to let another guy get them for his Z06.

there was once a post made about wheels in the C6Z section. i went off topic in that post and asked if anyone wanted to get rid of their wheels,(this was before my buddy offered me his) 3 people responded that they would but not one of them had posted in the for sale section. it seems some Z06 owners have these wheels laying around but dont bother trying to sell them.

i dont know anyone right now, but if you have the time, you can research my posts (not threads) in the C6Z section to find the names of those Z owners who had wheels for sale. i cant remember the title of the thread. it was about 2 months ago

Shawn,
I can't wait for your's to be completed. Will look awesome!!! Black wheels...I should've done the black against the DSOM, it would've looked menacing. Post pics.
I was contemplating doing the front end, but it is almost 3x as much since it involves hood, quarters and front end. The 275's will stick out a bit more but not too much.

Thanks for all for the feedback. It's good to know there are still "Car Guys" still out there.

-Ron
