I went last year and man was it a blast. last year we had 4 or 5 30 minute sessions each day. So thats about 4-5 hours for the weekend. I was so sore Sunday afternoon I didn't even do the last session. Class sessions are about 15-20 and are before each driving session. They are making this an annual event, but it may not always be held at cmp, they are also looking inot VIR.

What class did you run in? I was thinking I should do the novice class, if I go... at least the level 2 novice.
Only problem is, the last time I ran at CMP, the damn auto tranny got pretty friggin hot

You gotta put a cooler on it!!! My setrab unit keeps it under 180* in this heat!!! If you don't, you'll be calling RPM just like I had to

Last year was my first HPDE, and I first thought I wouldn't get enough time on the track. Boy was I wrong, and like Ken, I didn't do my last session on Sunday because I was soooo tired. It was a blast! And the instructors are great! But you usually have to sign up as soon as the event gets posted...they've been known to fill up in 3 hours. Check out this link:

I ran in the beginner class as it was my first HPDE. If you have 1-3 HPDE under your belt then the novice class is where you want to be.
