Default chassis flex fix?

the car twists more than i like, (86 vert)

how do you make the chassis more stiff without making the ride more stiff?

elementary knowledge level please.

C4 Verts should have an X-brace from the factory. The factory brace not only attaches to the corners of the frame, it also is bolted to the floor pan in (IIRC) 6 places; 3 bolts go thru the floor pan on each brace.

I've been fighting this to...These are the things I have done all of which has helped


Lowered car
larger sway bars
new bushings
camber brace
new shocks

I missed the Vert part.You can modify your brace by boxing it in with 1/8 X2 in. plate welded to it and it will strengthen it.

Unfortunately, R-D doesn't make a roll bar for the verts. They are a great asset too. You vert guys just have to have one fabbed if you want to go that route.

Camber brace would be the first step, there are rollbars available from other places than RD and that would be the 2nd step.

Larger sway bars would also help somewhat.
