If you had a choice.
If you had the opportunity to buy one of two cars with the same mileage, same color, comparable modifications and maintenance history. One is a 91 the other a 94. Which would be preferable? Price is comparable. I understand that the later modles had about 20 more hp.

It would be up to you.
Which interior you like better, style of 91 or newer 94. Outside your would not know 91 from 94.
As for motor, port the intake and then they have about the same power.

Some differences are traction control, seats, minor dash difference, passenger airbag (I think?), wheels, and the motor. If they are basically exactly the same, and the same price, I'd think the 1994 would be the one to grab.

If there that close in price milage and yada yada yada Id buy the one that is in the best shape exterior and interior wise.
Me personaly I dont care about maintenence records I do my own work but some people do....
Id have to see them both in person then go from there.
I also believe color has alot to do with resale value thats my opinion

Someone mentioned to me a 94-5 DRM that had been on Ebay, one of the closeup pics shows the ZR-1 emblem...the paint around it is scratched to hell and back and the interior looked like hell and it had like 22k miles on it. Condition is everything

Alot has to do with what your going to use the car for. Are you looking for something to park in a garage and hold on to it , not drive it much. Or do you want something to mod , drive hard , etc. ... For a driver I,d pick up the earlier higher production cars and a 94/95 to hold on to for the future if thats your thing.

i`m under the impression that the thrill of driving the car is worth more than the depreciation. i dont bring mine out of the hole dead stop but i don`t mind winding it up to about 110 mph and let off. put 100 miles on it last nite. soon will be 111,000 miles. the cars still in great shape. it still draws lots of looks/questions. i`m just an old hippy that likes the musclecar feel. this 90Z will be here until the estate sale. flip a coin if you have to. theres no way to lose.

I'm biased as I like the look and feel sitting in my '91. I guess if I didn't have that bias, I'd take the '94 all things being equal.

Here's a question for you jakers...if you had the opportunity to buy one of two 1991 Corvettes in about the same condition for about the same price, where one was an L98 and the other was a ZR1, which would you buy?
