Howdy,

Saw a very cool looking Snap-On phneumatic car lift in someone's photo galley here recently. (Portable Scissor-type on wheels). Didn't appear to lift more than perhaps 3 or 4 feet but enough for my needs. Car in gallery was LMB C6 Coupe.

Wondering if anyone else owns one for maintenance, cleaning, and/or wrenching? Also wondering how stable???

Type? model? I can't find on SnapOn's site.

I saw that also Bone Daddy. My neighbor is a snap on Dealer. I mentioned it to him the other night. He said he could get one for me. If you can't find out any information on here. I will see what I can find out.

I bought a bendPac for my garage.I got the low rise that takes it up about 30 inches for about 1200.00 ......4000 is kinda steep

Appreciate the timely feedback guys. Got to admit I wasn't expecting $4 grand worth of lift. I know...... SnapOn makes a good product.

At the moment I'm wondering if that electric "umph" isn't what is driving the cost up that high.

On the other hand doesn't seem like that much steel-hardware in the frame design to drive costs that high.

Wondering if it comes pheumatic only(???)

I think that be me...buying the lift was the BEST purchase I made in a long time (other than getting my Vette ) Use it all the time





I show this pic because some of the lifts have a solid plate where the arms swing out...this will block access for areas directly under the car


Also if you have lowered your C6 (I have...just using the OEM adjusters so it is about 3/4" lower) or a low car to start with (Elise) you will need the boards to allow for clearance over the lift

That's a nice looking lift and I'm sure it's good quality. But at 1K lbs., your not going to be moving that sucker around alot!!!

That's about the price I was hoping for but with SnapOn Quality. Hahaha.

I presume this lift is Chinese goods with that price. Kinda scary that there is no brand mentioned. Gotta wonder about replacement parts.

Thanks C6FIRSTVETTE. This place is great. Hey I appreciate you chiming-in with the great info and pics. You have one sweet garage setup (and two awesome whips) there Bro. I'd be scared to drop or spill something on that clean perfect floor. Kudos!

Did you have to pony-up the $4 Bills for your SnapON or were you able to find a discount somewhere? (Rep, website, etc)

Actually I got a super deal... performance shop had the lift and used less that a year...maybe used 6 times and was in perfect condition...shop even change hydraulic fluid prior to my picking it up...deal was get it out of his shop by weekend (he was replacing with a HD four pole lift the following Monday) and it is mine for $1000... hmmm...let me think Got my son and 5 of his buddies to move...weights about 700 lbs. I would look for a used one...maybe you can run into something like I did

Does anyone have any experience with Directlift products? This one has a minimum height of 3 7/8" and seems reasonably priced.
