I think the links are fixed now. They got cut off. Not sure what time the walk around is. This is all the info on it I have. Dave does a great walk around though!
Sunday morning Dave Hill, Corvette Chief Engineer and VLE, GM Performance Cars, will give participants a car design and engineering walk-around featuring the 2005 Corvette C6, 2006 Corvette Z06 and accompanying rolling chassis, also on Saturday. . There also will be a drawing for a lucky winner to participate in Sunday's Victory Circle ceremonies.

C6-R's 1 & 2 at Road Atlanta
I like the looks of the C6-R better than the C5-R now that Ive seen them racing next to each other..Very pretty race car...I must say it does look Viperish/Modena-ish from the front as its coming at you and thats a compliment....Im sure there will be a wide body kit for the C6 in the near future...
Looks like the C5-R's will suffer the Vipers fate since they are no longer factory sponcered...I couldnt believe how badly the one Viper I saw was doing...It had problems passing the GT2 cars..damn..
That Panoz/Porsche battle for 1st in GT2 was incredible..I think Timo diliberately hit the Panoz and tried to make it look like a racing incident..There was no need for him to turn left since it was a right hander coming up and the Panoz had position...Good call on the black flag imho...Time running out and Timo realized he couldnt outbrake and pass the Panoz as he had exhausted all attempts up to that point...Great racing though
Heres to continued American domination of the GT1 class

What happened to the Saleen? Last time I saw it before the end of the race, it was in second place but by the end it was back in fourth. Speaking of Ferraris: where were the Prodrive boys? Without them, the C-6Rs ran away with this race literally!

Great weekend! The weather was perfect & a great run from the Vettes. It was great to see so many familiar faces & meet some new ones too. I took a bunch of pictures, but I still need to download them. I'll have them up hopefully tonight or by Tuesday.
There were two Z06s there (silver & red) & a rolling chasis. Dave Hill gave us a Z06 walk around on Saturday morning in the Chevrolet hospitality tent. Couple of features he pointed out:
There were two Z06s there (silver & red) & a rolling chasis. Dave Hill gave us a Z06 walk around on Saturday morning in the Chevrolet hospitality tent. Couple of features he pointed out:
- carbon fiber fenders
- an almost 1 inch smaller in diamter 3 spoke steering wheel
- new & largest tires yet
- aluminum frame & new welds & fasteners
- magnesium bolt on top which is required for structural integrity
- 7K RPM tack
- larger mouth opening air induction
- red stiching on the black seats
- new grey titanium seats
- reason for the new marron red was "change is good"
- the maroon red has a "new jewel-like metallic flake"
- every other vette on the line is now a vert which is their max capacity
- 20% of production will be Z06s, with some of that amt going to europe
- the Z51 will be on partial constraint the rest of the model year
- Monday at 10:30, they will do the final approval for the new cashmere tops & if they check out ok, production will start in May

Great weekend!! Thanks for all the info Monica. Sure was sweet to see the Cadillac CTS-V's finish 1-2-3 and the Corvettes finish 1-2 in class. What a weekend for GM. And the C6 Z06 is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!
