Default Need help choosing a Car Wash?

Soon I am going to be in the market for some car wash. I want to try something new. I have a black C5, and I have been using Meguiars Deep Crystal Wash. I do like it but i have recently become a car detailing nut and I want something better. Now I am not looking to spend a ton of money on car wash. Just some recommendations on some moderatly priced car washes would be great. Something in like the 9-15 dollar range. Thanks alot guys/gals

My favorite is Zaino Z7 ($9 for 16 oz.). My second favorite is Meguiar's NXT wash. It is a really great bargain ($7 for 64 oz.).

Zaino products from start to finish! You just spent a couple of bucks on a nice Corvette, don't go cheap on your detailing products. You and your car's finish would not be happy. Remember, in this world you get what pay for.

Zaino products are great, but there are plenty of other quality products (cheap and expensive) that work well, too.

Dunno how much "better" you're expecting a simple shampoo to be. Some have more cleaning action, some have a wax mixed in, a few leave a residue that sheets water.... but most car shampoos are very similar. Stick with a name brand and you'll be OK.

If you want to try something different for the helluvit, look at Meguiar's NXT, Eagle One WET, or Mothers Calif. Gold shampoos. All are fine choices and reasonably priced.
