Default Repair shop in Raleigh, NC

Can anyone recommend a good repair shop around Raleigh? I have a c3 that has sat in garage for 12 years (ran fine when parked) and I would like to get it going again and check for tank sticker. Thanks.

Not sure how far you want to drive, but Cannons Corvettes in Currituck is good.

I'll let you know in a couple of days.

Just had my '69 towed to Tiger's in downtown Raleigh. He was pretty highly recommended by a couple of local C3 guys.

Wayne would be my choice, S&T is a little far away and the same for Cannon's... Wayne is on the forum quite a bit under the screen name of Wombvette.. Dave...

I'll bet sb69coupe could get it running for ya. He's pretty sharp.

You could try Tiger, he is highly recommended, but his shop is in bad area. Womble is the man, like Shannon said. You should definitely try him.

Didn't know about Womble, but for what it's worth I was very pleased with the work Tiger did. Got the car back today (nothing like driving with the top down in December!) and it's running great.

His shop is definitely in a bad area, but he kept my vette inside for the duration of it's visit so I felt very comfortable kepping it there.

Good luck with the car!

I've also heard good things about Womble Corvettes. However, I live in New Bern and Personally know Jim & Robert, the Owners of ST Corvettes here in New Bern. They do good work. In Fact, I was there this afternoon and my 69 Corvette Convertible is there now having some minor things done this week. They have worked on other C3 Corvettes I have owned in the past and did a very good job. They stay very busy and only work night hours during the week and all day Saturday's (because they each have day jobs) (Thus the meaning of the name "ST" Corvettes, meaning "Small Time") (Really, no joke) Robert is a friend of mine and they do good work! However, You have several good choices near you there in Raleigh. I talked with Womble Corvettes this week on the phone and they sound like they are very good people and stay very buzy also!
