1.I don't trust anyone who puts the crazy plastic floom crap in their engine compartment.
2. Yes, buy it for $5 and use it, when your LT5 grenades send him the bill for $10,000 and get yourself a new motor.

If its too good to be true, it probably is. That resistor probably helps lie to the ECM on IAT temps. Some people do the exact same thing with O2 sensors, bad idea.

Here's the response I got....

Hi. This mod will increase the timing by telling the engine that the air coming in is colder than it is. ECM upgrades add quite a bit of horsepower but is pretty expensive. Thank you...

Jeremy
I think I'll stick with the sensor relocate from Marc Haibek.

Love how the guy only tells you what this mod actually does if you go to the trouble of emailing him. He wastes pages worth of eBay listing telling you nothing about what it really is. Oh, and gotta love this:

You will DEFINATELY notice the difference Right Off the Line.
Is he capitalizing to emphasize that he doesn't know how to spell definitely?

I know that their is a free mod similar for LT1 f-bodys, where you can trick the ECU into thinking it is a certain temperature all the time, by using something from Radioshack and putting it in. Not quite sure what it is.

You only loose approx 20 hp if the IAT gets to 75 degree and above. I use a relocated sensor, but you also can modify the chip to retard ignition timing at a different temp setting from the stock setting.
