What size wrench is needed to remove oil plug and are the stock C-6 oil plugs magnetic if not are there any magnetic oil plugs available for the C-6?

Thanks again for the info I will have to get one and I hope they haven't made oil changing in a C-6 a pain. It will be ditto for the auto trans, and differential in the future also. Get proper sizes and tools. I would prefer to do alot of this stuff by myself if I don't have to break my back rather than spend a fortune for the dealer to keep my car all day.

Then it wouldn't be factory stock and I would feel like I am doing a butcher job going to that extent. I don't have confidence in that system yet. I'll stick with the magnetic plug thanks...

I have heard of this about a year ago but have not heard of it since as it hasn't been too popular around here. Feel free to fill me in

Sure Drain supplies you with a plug that replaces the factory plug. The new plug releases oil when the hose attachment supplied is inserted.
Fool proof and safe .It not even noticeable. Go to your local auto store and check it out. The biggest problem with factory plug is the gasket-never seem to have one in stock(not that is has to be changed every time)
