I purchased Nolan Adams body lift video and book. The book has great plans. I built the dolly last year and have not had a problem with it.
Well worth the money. And it supports one of our living knowledge banks! It's nice to give back once in a while.

My original thread is at http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=767208
If you build the VetteFinders dolly, extend the front of the dolly with a couple of 2x4s to support the headlight/nose assembly (i didn't)

Make sure the wood is not green, I read somewhere a horror story of a wooden body dolly drying out, doing very bad things to the body... VERY bad things. I'd use the dimensions, then build it from uni-strut or aluminum! :nopity

I used the Nolan Adams plan as well. The front did NOT extend to the radiator support. Maybe I didn't follow instructions correctly, but if I did it again I would extend the front to the radiator support and leave the support in.

That would the the best! Post the plans if you can. A metal dolly that exactly matches you mount point would be ideal. Without that I had to basically rebond everything on the frame to make sure it all lined up. This made it more difficult to reach some of the seams.
