Who makes the best headers for an 81 Corvette? I looked at hedman nd hooker. However, hooker doesn't claim to have a set that will let you keep the emissions stuff. I know they MUST have some.

I'm looking to replace the stock exhaust manifolds, but retain the air tubes and such so the emissions will pass.

I bought Hedman because of the air injector piping welded in from the factory. I dont think there the best but for emmisions you don't have much choice.

Default Re: Header (phxraptor)

I am running Hedman headers, thermal coated, with the AIR pipes.

Part number is 68301-6 - costs about $475 from Summit or Jegs.

Hooker has some, but they run over 700 bucks and the Hedman's fit better and don't seem to have the ground clearance issues many others do.
