You can buy the mandrel bends from Summit and take it to any shop. Not many places have mandrel benders, most just buy prebent stuff.

That's exactly what I did, bought the stuff from Summit and had a local shop build it to my spec. WITH parts and labor, my header-back exhaust was $300 and I GURANTEE it performs as well (if not better) than those high dollar units (Read: Borla, Corsa, B&B)

The two best exhaust shops in DFW are either Lane's or Nick's. Both shops do great work and use mandrel bends. They are not cheap though, you get what you pay for.
