Back window is falling out of my 2000 Convertible!
Can anyone give me some advise on how to repair the back window of my Corvette? The glass has pulled away from the canvas, (across the top and down one side of the window). What type/brand of adhesive should I use? Is there a special adhesive that will withstand the "baking" heat of the Arizona sun, (on a BLACK top)? Also, any other pointers/hints on how to repair it would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, I think you're out of luck. The rear window is ultrasonic welded into the top. There is no adhesive. Others have tried getting it glued back in, to no avail.
A new top can be bought from MidAmerica for $600, plus local installation.
Best of luck!

Warranty all the way. If warranty is expired your next best bet is a new top. If you can't afford that at this time, try looking into the large chemical companies industrial grade products, like DuPont, Dow, etc. They DO make adhesives that WILL glue anything together. The problem is getting your hands on some of the more aggressive materials (and for good reason). Good luck.
