Default Z06 Carbon Fiber Fuel Rail Covers

We can make them if there is an interest. The Red Kevlar/Black Carbon fiber valve covers would feature direct replacement of the stock covers. No cover on cover, but a true replacement carbon fiber unit.

One side of the mold pair

The Look: If you have not seen the red Kevlar Carbon, it is similar to the stock color. These covers would have the CORVETTE in black integrated carbon fiber, with the Z06 logo. We could also offer them in black carbon fiber, with red lettering.

If there is enough interest, we will price these to sell, not max out your credit card.

Jim

[b]sample swatch of the carbon/red planned for the Z06. Integrated CORVETTE and Z06 official logo. Coming in three weeks max, or sooner. Molds are being fabricated.

As you can see, the color is a dead nuts on match. When the vinyl ester is autoclaved it comes out somewhat darker.

We will also be making carbon/Lemans Blue

, and carbon/Silver, 50th Anniversary carbon/red.

All these colors will also be available in our TRAP system.

Make up a set and post the pics! I'm sure that you will get a lot of positive remarks and definate interest in them.

But instead of just a "Z06" version maybe if you have a "C5R" or "Vette Flag" version you would get more interests?

Could you do them in Red without the ZO6 logo?

There are many different ways they could be done. The integrated logo or Corvette, is done with carbon fiber and looks very sweet. I will get some digital pics of the quality we are talking about.

I am serious about keeping the pricing very low for the first 50 units. This way we get to make a mold, you guys get an awesome product.

Once we have the project cooking, there are many other parts that we could do.

Our carbon fiber guy has the ability to make a carbon fiber roof panel, just like those done for the Ferrari crowd.

We could do the molds in about two weeks. They could be utilized for black or red kevlar/cf, but it appears only 10 folks have any interest.

We would need 50 or more to even consider the big investment in tooling.

I'll have pictures of the quality and color sample of the finished product today.

Thanks.

These are the fuel rail covers, and are not mearly pieces that go over the stock covers, but actually replace them.

Jim,

Do you have plans to do anything carbon fiber to replace where our front license cover sits to compliment the tunnel ram?

That is Stage 2, due to be released Monday. We are laying up the mold today and should have our first part out of the autoclave Monday morning.

It will be pure carbon fiber, five layer, with an entrance designed by our F1 airflow guru. He didn't like my design, so we paid him to make it right.
He is responsible for all the induction ports on many of the F1 race cars, and does everything on the flowbench.

This Tunnel Ram Air Port will still not be true ram air, since it will not have a capture box. Stage 3, will be Direct Ram Air, and will provide some additional benefits over Stage 2 in the quarter mile, with a capture box and minimal boost at high speed. It will be an upgrade to Stage 1 and Stage 2.

Z06 Style Screens will stop little animals from getting into the system. The best part is it will feature "Hot Swap". Halltech Tunnel Ram Air Port off, stock Corvette Plate or license plate back on in less than 30 seconds. Stage 2 is not legal for sale in states with a front license plate law.

Pictures next week.

We also have a surprise later today. Stay tuned.

Sounds exciting. Fortunately NV doesn't force Corvette owners to have front license plates. The new tunnel ram arrived a few days ago and will be installed this weekend. Can't wait.

Looking forward to the surprise.
